@joe claridy as a Chinese American, I‘ll say I like panda express’ food. Their food use some ingredients as typical Chinese food but with American flavors. Once a week seems ok with me as it is not everyday. Of course a lot of people complain they are not authentic Chinese food. That is also true but sometimes not authentic does not mean they are bad.

My wife goes into full depression mode whenever the rice cooker has no rice ready and it's less than an hour until eating time. I try not to fail her since rice is my responsibility and arguably the biggest responsibility. Mac and cheese won't ever work as a substitution, and Pizza is a no-go either. This video is eerily accurate to my situation lmao

You are an honorable non-Asian. You understand the importance of rice. I will literally eat vegetables(I hate them) if there is rice, but I usually prefer not to because my family usually has meat for breakfast, lunch, and dinner. Which I always eat with rice. I will also only eat hot dogs(don’t like those either) if there is rice.

@pineapple party Cottage cheese is expired milk. It's just a controlled expiration. And technically cheese is expired milk because it's not really processed so much as it's left to bacteria to process it. That's literally the definition of expiration and spoilage.

As an Asian, my family never runs out of rice. Like seriously when the big rice can is covered by 1/4th with rice, we get more rice. Aside from that though, my family and I do eat things outside of rice once in a while such as burgers, pizzas and my favorite, noodles. Apart from that, this, quite literally, represents an Asian and I enjoined every single second of it. Keep up the good work!

@Zodiac忍び I'm sorry, but how is this such a hard concept to grasp. Human babies consume milk. Cows, goats, etc are domesticated. We know they produce milk. Trying to milk the village women probably didn't go over too well. Women also generally only produce milk when nursing children, in small quantities. Water was also full of disease due to lack of sewers. Thats why wine was so popular. People got thirsty and tired of having diarrhea. It blows your mind that someone thought, "let's try this mammals milk and she seem to produce it in quantities that can feed the village and doesn't injure their livestock in the process. These people weren't stupid. They had common sense, just weren't educated to our modern standards.

That Never happens to Asians. I'm a Korean and we buy 40 to 25kg of rice when it's time to buy one. You know, the rice packaged like an industrial material. And there's always an option of microwaved instant rice bowls just waiting to be bought in every store.
